A flock of migrating Starlings- also known as a murmuration- sure is a sight to behold. These birds perform bizarre and wonderful aerobatics, swirling through the sky in amazing formations that almost seem choreographed.

They usually put on these imposing giant formations to scare off natural enemies- such as falcons. As you can see in the video below- that seems to be very effective as the frightening display illustrated in that footage would make even Chuck Norris cry out for his mum.
