Looking back at what life was like just over a century ago really makes me appreciate the simple things I often take for granted today. After looking through these facts, I now appreciate that doctors are so well-trained and that getting an education and completing high school are mandatory; not to mention the fact that I can have a bath and wash my hair when I please! Most of the facts below made me realize how tough life was in the US back in 1910:
